There was a tumultuous incident in a village in Kakamega when a clergyman discovered his wife engaging in a compromising situation with another man in their marital residence.
The religious figure had attended a relative’s funeral when he received information that an unidentified man had been observed in his household. Prompted by this tip-off, he made an unannounced return to his home and caught his wife in the act with the man, who turned out to be her former lover.
The man involved in the affair explained, “She informed me that her husband was away and invited me for intimate relations. Unfortunately, we were caught. There was a time when she was my spouse, and I even fathered her child.”
The pastor expressed disbelief that his wife would bring another man into their shared residence. Infuriated villagers took matters into their own hands and administered a form of punishment to the woman for betraying her husband within the confines of their marital home, leaving her with injuries.
The pastor, having reached his limit with his unfaithful wife, declared that he was finished with her and granted permission for her extramarital partner to take her without any hindrance.
“I cannot tolerate living with an unfaithful woman. Let him take her and begin a new life together,” he asserted.
Curiously, it is noteworthy that the man involved in the affair was familiar to the pastor’s family.
