Diamond Platnumz Disapproves The Release of Jaguar’s Collabo with Lava Lava

Kenyan musician and politician Charles Njagua Kanyi, popularly known as Jaguar, recently released a new song titled ‘Unthinkable’, which features Lava Lava, a signee of Wasafi Records. However, despite Jaguar promoting the song on his social media pages, Lava Lava has not shared or promoted it.

During a press release, Jaguar revealed that Diamond Platnumz, the CEO of Wasafi Records, was against the release of the collaboration between Jaguar and Lava Lava. Jaguar explained that he did not go through all the formalities with Wasafi Records as ‘Unthinkable’ was his own composition, which he wrote seven years ago.

Jaguar further explained that he informed Lava Lava about the song’s release during their conversation on Wednesday, 10 May. He added that Lava Lava expressed that he was waiting for approval from his management. Jaguar and Lava Lava had met in the studio a couple of years ago, and Lava Lava had written his part to the song.

Jaguar stated that the song is still signed by Wasafi Records, but he realized that they had taken too much time, so he decided to release the song on his own. Despite the lack of promotion from Lava Lava, the song has gained over 75,000 views on YouTube.
