Kobetbet’s journey to success began at the age of 40 when he was employed as a watchman in Nakuru, earning a meager salary of Ksh. 5000 per month. Determined to improve his situation, he began bonding with hotel clients to gain knowledge about starting a business. He then used his savings to register a security company, Dango Five Security Services Ltd, and began his journey as a businessman.
With knowledge and determination, Kobetbet’s first business became a success. He started marketing his company through brochures and was advised to move from offices to institutions in search of clients. Now, the Dango Five Security Services Ltd is a well-established firm with a presence in Nairobi, Baringo, Eldoret, and Kericho. With over 200 security guards working for the company, Kobetbet earns approximately Ksh. 2 millions every year.
Kobetbet believes that every youth has the opportunity to make a living without having to invest a lot of money. He advises young people to create their own opportunities and not rely solely on employment. His dream was to become a billionaire, and he is proof that with determination and hard work, anyone can achieve their goals.
