Sh20k Tithe! How Car Trader Khalif Kairo’s Budget Looked Like 6 Years Ago

Car dealer Khalif Kairo recently offered a glimpse into his monthly budget from six years ago, a move that sparked both admiration and skepticism from online audiences. Renowned for his wealth, Khalif often faces both envy and critique when discussing his financial achievements.

In addition to his car dealership, Khalif deals in high-end motorcycles and provides flight experiences. As a pilot, he enjoys a lucrative income that many find enviable. In a recent update, he shared that his plane, which costs half a million dollars, presents its own set of challenges, particularly with parking. “The Pa32 weighs just over 1 tonne empty, making it quite cumbersome to park,” he noted.

Khalif also provided details of his budget from 2018, addressing his followers: “There’s a lot of talk about my finances, which is to be expected. Today, I’m revealing what my budget looked like six years ago. Focus on these three key areas,” he advised.

The three areas he emphasized were tithing, social responsibility, and marketing/investing, claiming, “The secret lies in these areas.”

His budget breakdown was as follows:

  • Tithe: Sh20,000
  • Social Responsibility: Sh35,000
  • Investments: Sh52,000

Additional expenses included:

  • Token: Sh1,000
  • Shopping: Sh3,000
  • Rent: Sh20,000
  • Internet: Sh1,000

Under the social responsibility category, expenses were:

  • Carol’s Fee: Sh15,000
  • Leo: Sh10,000
  • Mum: Sh5,000
  • Eve: Sh5,000

One critic dismissed Khalif’s budget as “utter delusion,” arguing that the tithe wasn’t serving its intended purpose but was merely enriching the pastor. In response, Khalif defended his approach, stating, “Many misunderstand how God operates. God blesses through people and takes what is His through them. When you tithe to a church, your part of the agreement with God is complete. How the church handles the funds is between them and God.”
