Born in Musanda, Mumias on August 18th, 1990, Dj Shiti was the sixth child in his family. He attended primary and secondary school and later began to develop his acting skills.

Dj Shiti has always considered himself a comedian at heart. He began performing plays, set books, and stand-up comedy at the Nakuru Players theatre, where he started his comedy career and has been active for over five years.

In search of better opportunities, Dj Shiti decided to relocate to Nairobi where he landed a gig with the Churchill show. He performed well in the comedy and was offered a role on the show.

When he first arrived in Nairobi, Dj Shiti had nowhere to stay as all of his family members had switched off their phones. He was forced to live on the streets, including staying in brothels with prostitutes. Despite the difficult circumstances, he continued to attend Churchill show auditions and remained hopeful that one day he would make it.

In 2014, Dj Shiti was given a chance to showcase his talents when he was offered a role in the popular show Real Househelps of Kawangware. The show’s creator, Abel Mutua, gave him the stage name Dj Shiti. This was the turning point in his career as he became a household name among Kenyans and his social media following grew exponentially.

With his increasing popularity, Dj Shiti began to attract brand deals and endorsement offers. He has since become a brand ambassador for Dstv, Gotv and many other multimillion-dollar companies.

Dj Shiti has truly come a long way from being broke and living on the streets to now being a millionaire and living in a luxurious mansion. He is a living example of how hard work and determination can lead to success.
