Comedian Clam Vevo, who asserts to have been romantically involved with musician Zuchu in the past, recently shared the intricate details of their unsuccessful relationship following Zuchu’s association with the WCB label.
In a heartfelt interview with a blog, Clam recounted the inception of their love story in 2015 when both were leading modest lives. However, as Zuchu’s career skyrocketed, a noticeable gap emerged in their lives, ultimately resulting in the demise of their relationship.
“Honestly, she is the one who propelled me to my current position. While people witness Clam’s success, they may not be aware of the source, and it’s Zuchu. So, it’s her words, our way of life, and the unraveling of our relationship that fueled my determination to succeed,” he explained.
Addressing a recent Instagram post following Diamond’s announcement of his separation from Zuchu, Clam pleaded with Zuchu to reconsider, asserting that he had undergone a significant transformation since they parted ways.
“I was expressing my feelings there, laying out everything and officially inviting her back into my life. I told her that things have changed; I am not the same person I used to be,” he revealed.
However, Clam expressed disappointment upon learning that Diamond had retracted his earlier statement about breaking up with Zuchu. Nevertheless, he maintained that, when expressing his feelings, he genuinely believed they had parted ways.
“Life is complex, and people go through a lot. I saw people saying that Zuchu and I are in different leagues. However, they don’t realize that I am not referring to the current Zuchu; I am talking about Zuhura from 2015. Those who understand and remember will recognize how Zuhura and I used to love each other,” he explained.
Clam acknowledged the depth of Zuchu’s love for him, attributing their breakup to financial reasons, particularly after Zuchu signed with WCB. The shift in circumstances created a significant gap, leading to their separation, as Clam was still adapting to urban life after leaving his rural hometown.
