A woman named Oluwabukola Dorcas Takunbe, in her middle years, has been apprehended following accusations of scalding her boyfriend with hot water during a heated argument.
The violent episode unfolded when her boyfriend opted to attend a childhood friend’s wedding without extending an invitation to Oluwabukola. This seemingly innocuous decision triggered a surge of jealousy in her, leading to an extreme reaction that left her partner in agony.
According to various accounts, the conflict arose when the victim attended the wedding solo, provoking a heated dispute upon his return home.
In a startling turn of events, Oluwabukola allegedly escalated the confrontation by resorting to violence, pouring hot water on her boyfriend. This act resulted in severe burns, causing him excruciating pain.
Reports suggest that, disturbingly, Oluwabukola directed the hot water not only at her boyfriend’s body but also at his genitals, adding an alarming dimension to the incident and underscoring the severity of the domestic abuse.
