Controversial singer Willy Paul has faced backlash from some netizens for claiming that his new song ‘Umeme’ is worth half a million dollars, with the cost of audio production only.

Willy Paul took to his Instagram to assert that he is a trendsetter and no Kenyan artist has ever reached such heights. Many fans criticized the singer for his claims and said that investing heavily in audio production does not guarantee the success of a song.
