One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals on Tuesday, December 7, toured Taita Taveta in a bid to win more voters and sell their agendas ahead of the 2022 general elections.
The four members, Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetang’ula, Kalonzo Musyoka and Gideon Moi promised the residents goodies if they win the country’s top seat.
Ford Kenya Party Leader, Moses Wetang’ula said that their administration will make sure that sex workers from the region and countrywide will have a free medical cover.
“Ordinary citizens strive to get proper medication and to educate their children. If OKA ascends to power, every Kenyan citizen including the sex workers will be covered under the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF),” he said.
They also promised to fight corruption and revive the economy.
“The greatest problem our people face in the fight against poverty is corruption. OKA’s government will ensure that the corrupt are dealt with,” OKA co-principal, Gideon Moi said.
Amani National Congress party leader, Musalia Mudavadi also promised that they will make sure that Kenyans are safe from interior or foreign threats.
