Rwanda-based Congolese gospel singer Israel Mbonyi has hinted at an upcoming visit to Kenya for a highly anticipated gospel concert.
Rumor has it that the “Nina Siri” hitmaker plans to visit Kenya before the year ends to uplift and inspire local audiences through his music.
According to information shared by Mideyah Digital Media, Israel Mbonyi will be visiting Kenya to show his appreciation for his Kenyan fans and to further his music career.
Mbonyi has urged Kenyans to prepare for an electrifying live performance set to take place before the end of 2024.
“Hello Kenya, it will be hot,” the renowned East African singer teased, creating excitement among his fans about his upcoming show in Kenya.
In a separate post, reflecting his commitment to his faith and calling, Mbonyi expressed his readiness to spread the gospel wherever God directs him.
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send?’ And I said, ‘Here I am. Send me,'” the singer shared on his social media.
Israel Mbonyi is celebrated across East Africa for his popular songs “Nina Siri,” “Sikiliza,” “Malengo,” and “Niyo.” Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka once remarked on Mbonyi’s impressive talent and poetic style, mistakenly believing he was Tanzanian.
“I’ve actually been watching this young man called Israel Mbonyi. He’s Rwandese but sings like a Tanzanian. He’s very poetic when he sings ‘Nina siri…’ then ‘jasiri…,'” Kalonzo revealed in an interview with TV47.
