Murang’a County Senator, Irungu Kang’ata has come out crying foul after the county government halted his medical camps.
The Country government led by Wa Iria is said to have temporary halted Kang’ata’s Medicare drive with immediate effect as from Friday, May 21.
In a letter seen by www.muranganewspaper.co.ke, Kang’ata said that the county government is in a charm offensive to cripple all his development projects to the Murang’a residents.
Kang’ata added that the move by the government led by Wa Iria is null and Void and shouuld not be stopped from trying to better the lives of the county residents.
Attempts by Murang’a County government to stop my medical camps are illegal, nuul and Void. It is an attempt to violate rights of poor patients who can’t afford Healthcare.He said.
However, the country government counterattacked his claims saying that the move was reached to prevent the further spread of Covid-19 in the county.
In other news, Jubilee Party Vice-chairman, David Murathe’s security details have been withdrawn days after it was reported that he and Tuju had been chased from State House by the president.
According to reports, Uhuru was angry with the two after they failed to explain how they lost to People Empowerment Party (PEP) and UDA in the just concluded Juja Constituency and Rurii Ward respectively.
