Popular Kikuyu singer and MC Karangu Muraya, also known as “Mr. Wonderful,” has publicly admitted to infidelity in his marriage.
On social media, he shared a message to mark the birthday of a daughter he had out of wedlock, calling on other men in similar situations to take responsibility for their children and show them love.
He wrote, “Happy birthday my daughter Shiru, daddy loves you much. To my fellow men…if you were blessed with a kid out of wedlock like me, accept and refuse to be a deadbeat dad. Let’s take responsibility for them and show them love because one day they will also be a blessing to us. Live long my daughter.”
His wife also commented, wishing the child a happy birthday and noting that “life must go on.” No further details were given about the girl’s age or her mother.
