A 45-year Man from Mufutu Village in Lugari, Kakamega County is upset after his 38-year-old wife supposedly went behind his back with a pastor who lives around his home area.
The husband said one of his kids, a son, called him at around 11pm on Thursday, May 13, asserting they had found their mom with another man in bed.
The child said he had heard a disturbance emanating from his parents ‘ room, and when he hurried there, he found the pastor naked in bed. Next to him was his embarrassed mother.
The cornered pastor further rushed out of bed descending the boy on kicks forcing him out of the room.
The kid, who informed his other sibling regarding the matter, raised the alert, prompting neighbors to seek after the pastor, who was stowing away in a nearby maize plantation.
The lady’s husband said he was away from home when the incident happened. The man disclosed that the “adulterous” mother-of-five was his second wife.
“After being alerted of the incident, I left for home immediately. On arrival, I took my children away from that house. Our Kabras culture demands cleansing rituals be conducted in cases where a woman commits adultery in her matrimonial residence,” he said.
The man’s mother claimed her son had gone away for business, whenwhen “my daughter-in-law decided to invite her lover to their matrimonial bed”.
A neighbor, Saulo Ambani, said it was sad to learn that a pastor, who ought to be teaching his flock on good deeds is actually misleading them.
“The Bible, which the pastor relies on to teach his convention, outlaws adultery. It is ironical that he is the one breaking that commandment,” said Ambani.
