The former National Assembly Speaker warned Kenyans to be wary when making a presidential decision come 2022 General Elections.
Marende cautioned Kenyans saying that Deputy President William Ruto is a dangerous man and would take the country into the dump if elected president.
He was speaking at a church service where he called out Ruto for being ‘greedy’ for power and disrespecting the president elect.
When you look at those who want to contest for the presidency, there are others who have been given the opportunity to serve before.
“President Uhuru Kenyatta means well for Kenya, but sometimes he works with people who are looking for individual benefits. When given an opportunity to select Cabinet members, they took their tribe alone,” he said.
Why do you think that person will change if you elect him president? He will not change, because his thinking is about tribalism,
