Raphael Tuju, has distanced himself from problems facing the jubilee party, saying he isn’t answerable for the mess.
For two years, Jubilee Party has been expelling members over what it named as indiscipline and gross misconduct
However, Tuju, while addressing NTV Kenya, distanced himself from being the one liable for managing discipline cases that occasioned mass departure from the party.
“The Office of the Secretary-General does not deal with discipline issues, it is the office of party Chairman and Deputy Party Chairman.
“I am the only one who communicates through them,” Tuju said.
Jubilee Party chair is Nelson Dzuya while the deputy director is David Murathe.
The party is on the very edge of collapsing after party members showed their disappointment with the manner in which the party’s agenda was being run, which prompted humiliation in just concluded by-elections.
As of now Jubilee Party top honchos led by Deputy President William Ruto have one foot out of the party and have started United Democratic Alliance(UDA) party.
