Yesterday night Sigalame boys high school in Busia county and Ofafa Jericho in Nairobi burnt down.This is witnessed in various school but for Sigalame its becoming a habit.
It is the fourth time the dormitories are burnt and the relevant authorities are loosing it.Yesterday around 130 students at Sigalame spend the night in the cold after the dormitory burnt down into ashes.
Mr Paul Auma the school principal is pointing the finger at the parents and the neighbors for burning the school.Mr Auma said the school has a population of 1600 students sleeping in 19 dormitory block and 4 have burnt down which is very unusual.
He added that the students are very calm and they suspect the outside forces.He said that the DCI have launched investigations about the latest incident.
Busia county director of education pointed fingures at the DCI because they have not got the culprits until now and he said they are taking too long.Busia county has recorded the highest number of cases burnt dormitories than any other county.
Police are guarding the school at the moment and students will be forced to stay at home until the investigations are done.
