Pastor Ng’ang’a has applauded Eric Omondi for his recent lecture to gospel artists. According to the controversial preacher, Eric was sent by God, and it was God speaking through him. Ng’ang’a also called on Eric to repent and follow his calling of being a preacher, stating that he could be a great teacher if he abandoned his comedic act.
Eric Omondi’s criticism of gospel artists was focused on their failure to uphold moral standards in the music industry. He called out artists like Daddy Owen, Jimmy Gait, Mercy Masika, Alice Kamande, Gloria Muliro, and Eunice Njeri for their supposed fall from grace. Eric also accused artists like Bahati, Willy Paul, and DK Kwenye Beat of engaging in scandals and immoral behavior. He particularly singled out Willy Paul, claiming to have witnessed the artist looking for university students to have sex with.
Despite the controversial nature of Eric’s lecture, Pastor Ng’ang’a seems to agree with his message. He sees Eric as a tool of God, sent to deliver a message that many gospel artists have failed to heed. Whether Eric takes up the mantle of preaching or not remains to be seen, but it is clear that his words have resonated with some members of the religious community.
