“Even if you have money, women contribute to a relationship,” remarked Pastor Kanyari, reflecting on his past marriage failure. The controversial preacher recently opened up about his unsuccessful union with gospel singer Betty Bayo.
During a sermon at his church, Kanyari offered advice to men facing the end of their marriages, encouraging them not to be disheartened if their wives choose to leave. Drawing from his own experience, he emphasized that women may leave even when a man is financially well-off.
“Do not be upset about being abandoned by your wife because even I was left. God is revealing to me, Kanyari, that women contribute to a relationship, even if you have money. She left a V8 and a Range Rover,” shared Kanyari.
Pastor Victor Kanyari remains unmarried, while his ex-wife Betty Bayo has found love again and remarried. Betty married Hiram Gitau, also known as Tosh, six years after her marriage to the controversial pastor ended. The gospel singer, who shares two children with Kanyari, annulled their marriage in 2015 following revelations of fake miracles performed by the preacher.
Their union, which began in 2012, faced public scrutiny and ended in 2015. Betty accused Kanyari of various issues post-breakup, including allegedly pressuring her to bleach her skin.
Betty eventually found love anew and introduced her new partner in May 2021, keeping his identity concealed until September of the same year. The couple celebrated their union in a traditional wedding ceremony on December 19, 2021.
