Billionaire businessman Jimmy Wanjigi has lashed out at Orange Democratic Movement party boss, Raila Odinga alleging that the party does not belong to him.
Wanjigi who was speaking on Thursday, August 19, claimed that the party was founded by Raila, President Uhuru, Deputy President William Ruto, Wiper Party boss Kalonzo Musyoka and ANC part leader Musalia Mudavadi.
“We are saying this to the ODM party, that we know it has got strong power. It has been in existence for 16 years. The founders of this party were Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga, William Ruto, Musalia Mudavadi, and Kalonzo Musyoka,” he stated.
They all left leaving it for Raila. But the party does not belong to Raila. It is a national party for all of us which must represent the nation of Kenya.
This comes barely a day after Wanjigi was blocked by police in Murang’a after trying to open ODM Party offices in the county.
