Njogu wa Njoroge: My former CEO demanded I kneel down to get my Radio Job back

Former Kameme TV presenter, Njogu wa Njoroge, recently disclosed the challenges he faced when he decided to leave his radio career and enter the political arena. According to Njoroge, his departure from radio did not sit well with his former boss, leading to a tense encounter.

On his Facebook page, Njoroge shared that the CEO of the company he previously worked for urged him to reconsider his decision and even went so far as to request him to kneel if he desired to regain his job. The fallout from his move into politics also resulted in the denial of his rightful compensation.

In a post accompanied by a photo of himself with William Ruto, which he promised to unveil later, Njoroge expressed the emotional toll the situation took on him: “When I will finally unveil this photo, I will tell you about how it brought seven months of tears, frustration, and desperation.”

Despite the challenges, Njoroge asserted that he sees himself as a winner, emphasizing that victory goes beyond mere electoral success. He gracefully accepted defeat in the UDA nominations, thanking those who supported him financially and spiritually.

Addressing his supporters from Njoro, Njoroge acknowledged their decision and expressed gratitude: “My people of Njoro, I respect your decision. For those who stood by me, God bless you abundantly.” He also conveyed that a superior vision had surpassed his initial ambitions for Njoro, and he found contentment in that.

In a magnanimous gesture, Njoroge extended his best wishes to Charity Kathambi, who emerged victorious in the nominations, hoping that she would serve the people of Njoro effectively.

Having officially joined Deputy President William Ruto’s UDA on January 21, 2022, Njoroge pledged to support the Bottom-Up message and contribute to spreading it in the Njoro constituency, Nakuru County. His journey into politics was marked by an official reception from DP Ruto, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, and Kikuyu legislator Kimani Ichungwa at the deputy president’s Karen residence. As he transitioned to this new phase of life, Njoroge sought prayers and support from well-wishers, emphasizing the importance of timing in accordance with biblical teachings.
