Simon disclosed that he had invested in his wife’s future by establishing a business for her using his hard-earned savings. His younger brother, who owned a motorcycle, played a role in transporting her to and from the market where her business was located. However, one fateful day in 2021, his brother carried her as usual, and they vanished without a trace, leaving Simon alone with their seven children. With the abrupt departure of his wife, Simon found himself shouldering the responsibilities of both mother and father to his young ones, turning his once-stable life into a living nightmare.
The harsh realities of poverty and a challenging economy further exacerbated their predicament, causing Simon and his children to endure hunger on multiple occasions.
