Media personality Karagu Muraya and Philanthropists Kathy Andrews have once again received praise after handing over a new house to a Murang’a granny and her kids in Maragua Sub-county.

The granny who hails from Kinyona and nicknamed ‘Cucu Wa Kinyona‘ takes care of her adult son who is disabled.
Together with other Kenyans of good will, Kathy joined hands and built the house for the elderly lady.
That old lady has been living such a bad life and she’s been neglected by the community. She breaks down in tears every time she talks about her problems,
Kathy said.
The granny was handed the keys to her new house yesterday, November 25, and moved out of the shacky house they previously used to call home.
The shack had no beds, blankets or foodstuffs.
Cucu will never have to live in that bad house again, that makes me so happy. I am grateful to Karangu for inviting me on board this wonderful project,
said Kathy.
As seen in the photos, the elderly woman could not hold back her tears after seeing the new house and a great life ahead.
