Mother Who Gave Ksh 20 to Unknown Man Given Back Ksh 200,000 by Well-Wishers

An extraordinary tale has captured the attention of many in Kakamega County, as a woman’s altruistic gesture unexpectedly led to a shower of blessings. The narrative unfolded on the TikTok platform, shared by a man known as Pastor Dan Wema.

Pastor Dan Wema decided to test the woman’s faith by requesting a modest loan of 20 shillings when their paths crossed. Despite her apparent financial struggles, the woman selflessly handed over the requested amount, oblivious to the fact that this small act of generosity would set off a series of unforeseen blessings.

Grateful for the woman’s kindness, Pastor Dan Wema shared the remarkable story with his online followers, prompting them to contribute over two hundred thousand Kenyan shillings for her. Expressing his appreciation for their support, Wema recounted the social experiment he conducted with the woman, highlighting her success in passing the test.

Addressing his audience, Wema expressed his gratitude, saying, “As usual, my name is Dan Wema, and I thank you very much for your support. You remember this woman I did a social test with, and she passed.” He then gave the woman an opportunity to thank the contributors for the substantial amount of money raised on her behalf.

The woman, brimming with gratitude, conveyed her thanks, saying, “I thank you for helping me. I say thank you, and to your families, may God bless you. Wherever you walk, may God open your ways, and wherever you live, just continue to be like that, helping others like me. Thank you.”

Wema revealed that the funds collected would be utilized to sponsor one of the woman’s children through various schools and address other urgent needs in her household.

In expressing his appreciation to his fans, Wema urged them to continue embodying kindness and love for others, emphasizing the unpredictable ways in which blessings may manifest. Reflecting on the transformative journey from a humble 20 shillings to over 200k, Wema concluded, “This woman gave me 20 shillings, and from that 20, we have raised more than 200k, think about it, that is only God.”
