It is reported that the lady, in red, had a misunderstanding with the husband and left to her parents home few days after she conceived.
The lady together with her best friend identified as Calista,in blue,agreed to sell the infant to a native doctor and use the money to start a business.
With the help of another friend, they are said to have sold the baby to the traditional Doctor andd the lady went back home claiming that she had given birth to a dead baby.
Few hours later, as fate would have it, she started bleeding and confessed to what she had done.
Confirming the Reports, Igoona Police Commander, Eze John said that they arrested the lady and her team and rescued the infant.
“We got a tip-off from residents that the lady confessed to selling her baby boy to a naive doctor so as they can get money to start a business. This is very wrong these people will face the full force of law,”he said.
