Prophet Dr. Edward David Owuor is a well-known evangelist in Kenya, who has gained a significant following in the modern era. His rise to prominence coincided with the rise of digital media, the expansion of FM stations, and the peak of televangelism.
Owuor is known for forming his own church, delivering his message of repentance, and establishing a unique fashion style for his members that rivals that of the Akorinos. Additionally, his bodyguards are among the best, providing him with top-notch security.

Owuor was born in 1966 in Yimbo, Siaya County and holds degrees from Makerere University, the University of Nairobi, Ben Gurion in Israel, and a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Haifa. After earning his PhD, he was immediately offered appointments by two leading institutions in medicine in the US.
