“Keep your big mouth shut,” – Miguna tells Gachagua after he said he will change the colour of police uniforms if RUTO forms the government in August.

Controversial National Resistance Movement (NRM) general, Miguna Miguna has badly called out Rigathi Gachagua after he said that their government will change the police uniform color from blue.

Gachagua was speaking in Nyandarua during the Kenya Kwanza County forum on Saturday where he said that they know the issues and challenges facing the National Police Service.

Gachagua said that their government will make sure that it will address the issues of salaries and went on to critisize the Interior Ministry for allegedly not caring for the officers welfare.

Mumesumbuliwa sana na Matiang’i na Kibicho. Ata ile uniform ya blue ambayo hawataki, tutawaondolea tuwarudishie ile ya Kitambo. Hiyo ya blue tutarudishia kanisa ya PCEA. Hiyo ni uniform ya women’s guild,

he said.

In response, Miguna told Gachagua to stop petty politics and focus on the wellbeing of the larger 50 million Kenyans.

“Mr. @rigathi: This is a silly sideshow. No one asked you to change the police uniform. Focus on the agendas of 50 million Kenyans – jobs, human rights, democracy, rule of law, electoral and social justice. If not, shut up,” Miguna wrote on his Twitter page.
