Moses Kuria : We Stole Votes For President Kenyatta

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has said that he and other political pioneers whom he didn’t name assisted President Uhuru Kenyatta with winning presidential elections through dubious means.

The MP who was talking during the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party’s NDC faulted President Kenyatta blaming him for sidelining DP Ruto and his allies notwithstanding being the team that aided him to secure the top seat under the Jubilee alliance in 2013 and 2017.

In the controversial remarks, Kuria claimed that along with other’s who are presently partnered to DP Ruto’s camp guarded President Kenyatta’s votes and furthermore manipulated the elections in his favour.
“Kuna wengine wanasema ati kura ya mlima itagawanywa; mheshimiwa Ann Waiguru, Rigathi Gachagua, Muthomi Njuki, Kimani Ichung’wa, Senator Linturi, Alice Wahome, Faith Gitau, Kimani wa Matangi…Sisi ndio tulikuwa tukishikilia Uhuru kura, na sisi ndio tulikuwa tunamuibia kura,” Kuria stated.

Kuria went forward to contend that the vote-rich Mount Kenya area would back the DP just as they revitalized behind the UhuRuto government in 2013.

“Akili yote iliyoweka Uhuru kwenye kiti, yote iko hapa, ile iliokuwa kule Azimio ni mwili tu,” Kuria noted.

The lawmaker, who is peering toward the Kiambu Governor’s seat, promised his support for DP Ruto whom he portrayed as “a good-natured person who keeps his word.”

“Wengine wanajigamba ati wao ndio walileta Kenya pamoja; nobody brings Kenyans together like William Ruto,” Kuria explained.
He added: “You might be a good leader, politician and party leader but one thing I am sure you are a good human being and that makes a big difference. Supporting a good human being is more important than supporting a good leader because we can take your word.”

The Kiambu gubernatorial wannabe and Chama Cha Kazi party pioneer additionally radiated certainty that Ruto would be the undisputed victor in the August Presidential polls by trouncing all other candidates vying for the seat.
