Director Of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives have arrested a 23-year-old Tanzanian lady in Mombasa after she was busted pretending to be a Beggar.
The Mombasa policemen also managed to arrest a man who has been hiring the ladies and children to go beg around the city.
This comes barely 2 days after a freelance journalist captured photos that have since gone viral of a woman pretending to be crippled was captured walking comfortably after a long day begging.
A report by K24 Digital detailed that detectives raided a house in Mombasa and busted the man said to be hiring the ladies and children.
Ibrahim Basafar, the county inspector, Deputy Director in charge of the raid home of the foreigner who is said to have be en outsourcing disabled individuals from Tanzania and positioning them at busy streets.
The report also revealed that the Beggars make over Ksh 15,000 from unsuspecting Kenyans.
