Lydia pointed out that, in her view, many men are averse to women who are financially independent because such individuals cannot be easily controlled or directed. According to her, selecting young or financially dependent women is a strategic move by some men to exert power and maintain control in the relationship.
“Some men deliberately choose young or financially dependent women. It’s about power and control. The aggression they display when control slips away is telling. They dislike women with financial independence!” she expressed on X, formerly known as Twitter.
