Kenyans living with HIV/AIDS have been enduring a lot lately due to ARV drugs. Numerous individuals have not been getting the medications in the manner which they used to get them.
This was brought about by the impasse between the Kenyan government and USAID which changed the shipment method of the drugs. The areas which have been hard hit by the issue of the ARVs are mostly regions that are found in Nyanza. This is due the high infection late in this region.
Those living with HIV/AIDS from Kisumu County, had a peaceful demonstration on Tuesday, They were requesting for additional medications to be given to them.
The patients were requesting for drugs that can last them for a more months, medication that they would not have to visit the hospitals week in week out.

Their plea should be heard because it is the ARVs that helps them to boost their immunity.
