Police in Nakuru have initiated an inquiry following the death of a 57-year-old man who had reserved a hotel room in the company of a 21-year-old woman.
The individual identified as Geoffrey Njoroge Maina had completed the check-in process at Graceland Hotel alongside Joy Moragwa on Tuesday, October 24, at approximately 1 PM.
Several hours later, around 5 PM, Joy hurried to the hotel’s reception area and urgently informed the staff that the man was experiencing breathing difficulties.
Upon inspection, the lifeless body of the man was discovered lying on the bed, bearing no apparent physical injuries.
Detectives arrived at the scene to conduct a thorough investigation, meticulously processing and documenting the circumstances.
The deceased’s body was subsequently transferred to the Nakuru County Municipal Morgue, where it awaits a post-mortem examination.
