Kenyan entrepreneur Kennedy Rapudo has recounted the story of how he crossed paths with the well-known Kenyan socialite, Amber Ray, who is now the mother of his children.
In a recent interview with Parents Magazine, Rapudo shared details of their initial meeting at a casual outdoor gathering.
“She approached me at a spot along Thika Road where people would gather to relax, park their cars, and enjoy drinks. I had parked my car there when I noticed her looking at me in a way that piqued my interest,” he recalled.
Rapudo described taking the initiative to approach her and strike up a conversation, which eventually led to their first meeting.
Subsequently, both Rapudo and Amber Ray ended their previous relationships and began dating.
“I took the first step and approached her, expressing admiration for her beauty after recognizing her from social media. At that time, she was with someone, and so was I. Once she became single, I seized the opportunity,” explained Kennedy Rapudo.
He elaborated on why he acted swiftly upon learning of Amber Ray’s availability, revealing that he had been interested in her for nearly two years.
Moreover, Rapudo noted that Amber Ray had already shown an interest in him, which facilitated their connection.
“She had actually attempted to set me up with one of her friends initially, but I was drawn to her. Eventually, she invited me to share a glass of wine one day, and the rest is history,” he recounted.
