“I don’t want to bury my son, he is still too young “- Kibera Lady Says.

A lady identified as Emily from Kibera-Nairobi county has shared an emotional story about her challenging life journey.

In an interview wit Tuko.co.ke, Emily narrated how her 16-year-old son, Declan has turned against her wishes and joined bad area company.

She siad that she leaves home very early and her 10-years-old second born, Hawi who suffers from kidney disease takes charge of the house.

“I would never want to bury my son. I know I have failed him and I blame it all on my job which hindered me from noticing changes in him,” Emily said.

The mother of four added that the first born son, Declan has become so addicted to drugs in a way that he skips home for over two weeks just to indulge in the partaking of the illegal drugs.

Her wish is that she will get help and take his child to rehab adding that the government should take extra measures in curbing the illicit drug trade.
