Cop caught on camera stealing from invigilators during KCSE exam

After being caught on camera reportedly stealing money from female invigilators at a secondary school in Bomet County, a junior police officer is the subject of an investigation.

According to officials, the incident happened on Monday at Kimulot High School in Konoin constituency.

The cop was seen on CCTV plundering female invigilators handbags.

The officer allegedly went into a room where the invigilators were storing their stuff, including phones and other valuables, and plundered the bags, according to county police commander Mathews Mangira.

After learning that the cash they had in their handbags could not be traced, the three victims, have recorded statements.

According to authorities, one of them claimed to have lost Sh100, another Sh900, and the third Sh300.

The victims sought the assistance of the school administration
