Dr. King’ori Finally Hints at His Next Move a Day After Leaving NTV

Renowned TV personality Felix Omondi, popularly known as Dr. King’ori, bids farewell to NTV after a seven-year tenure hosting The Wicked Edition on the network.

In a statement released on Friday evening, the witty presenter disclosed that the current week’s episode of The Wicked Edition would mark its final airing.

King’ori reflected on his significant accomplishments at NTV and expressed gratitude to fans for their unwavering support throughout the years.

“Seven years of transformative moments and over 300 memorable episodes on television, coupled with more than 70 million YouTube views, have solidified The Wicked Edition’s status as the longest-running comedy show on Kenyan television,” noted King’ori in his statement.

He continued, “From its inception, The Wicked Edition consistently delivered top-notch content in Kenya. Your sponsorship propelled us to new heights, earning recognition at the esteemed Kalasaha Awards and nominations for the best-performing and best comedy TV shows in Kenya for the upcoming 2024 edition.”

The comedian extended his appreciation to NTV for the opportunities provided and commended the collaborative efforts of the team he worked with.

While revealing his post-NTV plans, King’ori hinted at continued involvement in the entertainment industry. “As we conclude our chapter with NTV Kenya, it marks a new beginning as we broaden our horizons, engage in significant creative endeavors, and persist in delivering valuable content to our fans across East Africa and beyond,” he stated.
