Mugithi performer Lawrence Njuguna, popularly known as DJ Fatxo, recently acquired a brand-new Mercedes Benz, marking a significant milestone in his life. The artist took to social media to share a video showcasing his new vehicle, expressing that the purchase was a personal gift to himself for successfully navigating a challenging year and for demonstrating resilience.
In an Instagram post, he wrote, “New month, new ride… see God oooooh! It’s been a tough year, acha nijiliwaze na haka katoy for being a fighter.” His followers flooded the comment section with messages of congratulations.
Earlier in the year, DJ Fatxo made headlines when a 22-year-old interior designer named Jeff Mwathi passed away in his house. However, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) confirmed Fatxo’s innocence a few months ago, stating that he had no case to answer as he was not present at the scene of the incident.
In June, DJ Fatxo released his highly anticipated song titled ‘Ngatho.’ The track, a Kikuyu thanksgiving song, reflects Fatxo’s gratitude towards his God for helping him overcome what seemed to be a challenging period.
