NRG Radio has announced that several Kenyan celebrities will be joining the station in April and May. Kamene Goro, Shaffie Weru, and DJ Pierra Makena are among the celebrities who will take over the NRG Transit, a four-hour show that airs on Fridays between 3 pm and 7 pm. They will replace Mwalimu Rachael and DJ Xclusive.
In addition, media personality MC Jessy has joined NRG Radio and will be hosting a show with Betty Kyallo as a guest host on Thursday, April 27. They will be joined by DJ Malaika on their debut show at 3:00 pm.
MC Jessy has also revealed that his first guest on NRG Radio will be musician Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, for her first interview since her wedding.
NTV’s ‘The Trend’ host Amina Abdi Rabar has also joined NRG Radio. She will be co-hosting the NRG AM Show alongside DJ Joe Mfalme and Chebet Ronoh from 11 am to 2 pm.
KRG The Don, a Kenyan singer and businessman, has also landed a spot at NRG. He will be hosting the NRG Transit show alongside DNA, Dufla, and DJ JR.
NRG Radio, which celebrated its fifth anniversary since its launch in March 2018, has made several changes by bringing in new faces and voices. Fans are eagerly waiting to see what these new additions will bring to the station.
