Scarlet Wahu, the sister of Pastor Kanyari, was caught on CCTV entering an Airbnb with John Matara, the man accused of her murder, on the fateful day she lost her life. The video footage reveals Wahu in a striking red dress, paired with a blue denim coat and black high-heeled shoes. Matara, the suspected assailant, is seen wearing a blue shirt adorned with black stripes, khaki trousers, and boots.
Utilizing the building’s lift, they ascended from the basement floor to the fourth floor, ultimately reaching the designated house where they intended to spend the night. Tragically, this seemingly routine evening took a sinister turn when Matara attacked Wahu, stabbing her in the head and right thigh.
Aside from these fatal wounds, Wahu exhibited additional physical injuries, serving as a grim testament to the intense struggle that unfolded during the tragic incident.
