The family of the late Bishop Mercy Waciama has released an emotional song in her Honour.
Waciama succumbed to Covid-19 on March 16,2021 while receiving treatment at the Murang’a Level 5 hospital where she had been admitted.
In the new song titled ‘Ruo Ruru’ (This Kind of Pain) expressed their emotions asking God to see them through the hard times without a mother and wife.

“This pain is too much Father (God) and our hearts are broken, May you take it away and bless us,” the chorus of the emotional song says.
In the video, a montage of Waciama’s burial is seen with the husband and children seen strong with the will to push through the hard experience.
The departed bishop was a show host of Ugi Ni Umenyo (Knowledge is light) at Njata TV before launching a TV station, Kiheo TV where she spread the gospel to the world.
She was also a mister at the Embracing God Church in Thika where before her death, she had started the construction of the church. Waciama left being her husband, Samuel Muturi and three children.
