Not many Kenyans know of the drama between Nominated MP Maina Kamanda and his baby mama, Esther.
Esther Wanjiku is a politician and Njabini Ward MCA (Nyandarua).The MCA is also a mother of one boy who she alleged was sired by Maina Kamanda.
She had previously moved to court and sued Kamanda for child support after the MP allegedly refused to take part in supporting their son.

According to Esther, Kamanda had blatantly refused her calls to atleast chip in and be present for their son.
She then later moved to court again where she wanted the legislator compelled to pay a monthly child support and upkeep of Ksh 220,000.
The two however agreed to sort their issues away from court and came to an amicable solution.
The drama seemed to be a God sent opportunity for Esther seeing that it thrust her into the public limelight which made her get the ward seat.
She has however maintained a low profile when it comes to family matters and in her own words, is determined to serve her people in Njabini ward diligently and effectively as their MCA.
