Barry Ndengeye: Meet B Club Billionaire Owner & Kenya’s Richest Car Collector

The opulent B-Club, located at Galana Plaza in Kilimani, has garnered attention for all the wrong reasons due to a series of disturbing incidents involving firearms.

One infamous incident at B-Club involves the shooting of Dj Evolve by Babu Owino, resulting in severe injuries that left part of Dj Evolve’s body paralyzed.

Prior to Dj Evolve’s unfortunate incident, the club had been a backdrop for other instances of gun-related drama, involving controversial figures from the city.

Established in 2015, the upscale club is the brainchild of Barry Ndengeye, who relocated to Nairobi following the 1994 Genocide in Rwanda and later obtained refugee status in Belgium. Ndengeye’s extravagant lifestyle is shadowed by controversy, particularly concerning the dubious origins of his substantial wealth.

While Ndengeye asserts that his riches stem from real estate ventures, a Brussels court sentenced him to three years in jail in 2007 for charges of money laundering and forgery, casting doubt on the legitimacy of his wealth.

The self-proclaimed young and dubious “businessman” flaunts an impressive fleet of high-end vehicles, including a Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Ferrari, and a Tron Bike. These vehicles were imported to Kenya from Dubai, where Ndengeye previously resided.

Adding another layer of intrigue to his life, Ndengeye is married to Samia, a private banker whom he encountered during his time in Belgium. The union between the flashy entrepreneur and the banker further contributes to the enigmatic narrative surrounding Barry Ndengeye and his association with the B-Club.
