Musician Bahati has come out to address concerns after failing to honor his earlier pledge of KSh 1 million to the Harambee Stars players.
Bahati admitted that although he made the promise, he has not yet fulfilled it. He explained that his delay was because he was busy celebrating his son’s birthday, which came shortly after his public commitment to the team.
The singer also sparked mixed reactions online when he remarked that people should avoid those who think KSh 1 million is a lot of money, terming it a “poor mentality.”
His comments have stirred debate, with some defending him while others criticized the statement as dismissive, especially given the financial struggles many Kenyans face.
