Bernard Mwangi aka Mr. Mweposi has come our to share his journey from being a celebrated actor to becoming an alcoholic and later sinking into depression.
The actor revealed that he divorced his wife sometime back which lewd to him being depressed for a few years.
“When My marriage ended, I started engaging in alcoholism and ended with me having high blood pressure,” Bernard said.
He also revealed that people thought that he was rich but that was not the case seeing that he was employed on a contract by Citizen TV.
“I had a family and everyone was so used to seeing me on tv. People thought that I had a lot of money but that was not the case seeing that we were being paid peanuts,” he added.
“After a video of me super drunk went viral, that was my wake-up call. I came to accept that my life had started taking the wrong direction a nnd I started changing slowly,” Mweposi stated.
The actor is now begging Kenyans of good will to come to his aid and help him venture into onion and pepper farming.
