The 44-year-old Franklin Munyau is said to have strangled the girlfriend at their rented home in Ruiru.
According to the neighbors, a stinking stench and the flies coming out of the house raised their curiosity where they broke the door only to find the lady’s body rotting inside a polythene bag.
The neighbors said that Franklin has been living in the same house with the lady’s corpse.
The man has since been arrested awaiting trial.
