” Sisi Luo’s don’t Negotiate For Dowry tunalipa tu!” Prince Indah On Paying Ksh.50 Million Dowry For Winnie

Popular Ohangla musician Prince Indah has finally addressed widespread speculation surrounding the amount of dowry he paid for his wife, Winnie Nyamigori.

Speaking in an interview with content creator Obinna, the singer clarified that while his dowry ceremony was indeed a grand affair — featuring a motorcade of over 40 Toyota Prados and 4 helicopters — the actual bride price remains a private family matter.

Indah emphasized that in the Luo culture, dowry is not something to be openly negotiated or discussed in monetary terms, as doing so would reduce it to a business transaction.

“Dowry is a cultural practice, not a price tag. I’ve been part of the family for long, so this wasn’t something to argue about,” he explained.

When asked directly whether he paid Ksh.50 million, the artist remained reserved. He neither confirmed nor denied the amount, choosing instead to respect the cultural and personal significance of the ceremony.

“It’s not necessary to disclose the amount,” he said.

While the exact figure remains unclear, it is evident that the event was lavish and attracted attention both online and offline.
