Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya has shared his thoughts about marrying due to the cold weather.
On his Facebook page, Salasya posted a picture of himself making an address with the caption, “Hii baridi inaanza kunilazimisha to start thinking of getting one woman this year.”
(This cold season is making me consider marrying one wife this year and another next year).
He added that he plans to marry another woman next year, stating that he has the financial means to support two marriages.
“Alafu mwingine next year because I must marry more than two wives pesa ya kuwalinda iko kidogo ya kuwa maintain,” Salasya wrote.
Despite his polygamous intentions, Salasya has been turning down marriage proposals from various women.
“This issue of marriage is very hard. I’ll be a polygamous man obviously. I’ll have three wives,” he disclosed.
One of his followers, Fred Machio, commented on his post, commending him for his performance as an MP.
“Marriage is not comedy, just keep on playing your comedies and time is running out. You’re performing your given job well, one of the best MPs in Western and Nyanza,” Fred wrote.
