A number of well known Kikuyu artists made a performance together at Mashujaa day celebration at Wanguru stadium Kirinyaga county to entertain visitors with songs containing great messages about our nation and different past and present heroes.
The musicians wearing white uniform clothes generally bearing the colours of our public flag which is one of the symbols of national unity.
Among the musicians present were Samidoh, Dj.Fatso, Shiru wa Gp, Ben Githae, Joyce Wamama, Jose Gatutura, Edith Wairimu and numerous others.
Indeed, the artists pocketed a good amount of money prior to their exemplary performance which impressed many Kenyans present at the fete.
As per an update by Best Kikuyu Events on Facebook, the musicians were paid 100,000 Kenyan shillings each.
The amount was merited considering that the artists are all highly ranked and had put in much work in preparing the performance which took 14 minutes.
