An old granny in Muranga I now in torment as she cries for help from the Govt to assist her with getting her land back. According to Rose Wachera, 96 years, she fought against the colonial rule in Kenya to ensure that Africans get their land back.
She is living in fear as her property which is on the hand of land grabbers is being taken away from her.The old granny from Muranga participated against fighting the British from invading their land in 1952 and 1960.
According to her, the land which she kept on fighting for against the colonial administration before independence by ensuring she supplied food and water to the fighters become her today’s source of misery as grabbers forcefully removes her from her land without the government to help her.
As per her assertion, the granny stated that cartel includes land brokers, govt officials and some well known developers who look for political and police trick to execute their plans and now she begs president Uhuru Kenyatta and Muranga leaders to come and rescue her from the grabbers. She further expressed she wants to pass in peace and need to leave her family knowing they have some place to put their heads on without fear of anybody.
