Deputy President William Ruto is indeed ahead of his political friends going to the 2022 General Election.
This is after his UDA registered more than 1.5 million members in the ongoing recruitment to the party in the Rift Valley alone.
The party has sent coordinators in all counties in the DP’s political yard to ensure they enroll however wants to join the party.
Nationally, it has enrolled more than 2.8 million people to reinforce its strength ahead of 2022.
Hundreds wannabes are likewise setting up the ground for intense contest for the party ticket ahead of 2022 polls.
This comes as the DP clarified that he will vie for the presidency on a UDA ticket come 2022 after President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee announced an arrangement to form an alliance with Raila Odinga’s ODM in preparation for the 2022, a move pointed toward edging Ruto out Jubilee.
UDA has planned to open up a regional office to be named the Hustlers Centre North Rift which will coordinate all party activities in the eight counties in the area.
Another centre is expected be opened in Nakuru to help in coordination of activities in the South Rift.
