In a recent YouTube video, Irene Nekesa, widely known as the prominent househelp in Diana Marua and Bahati’s household, candidly discussed the daily expenses incurred in their lavish residence. Nekesa, joined by two other househelps, took the opportunity to elucidate to their employer, Diana Marua, the reasons behind the consistently high daily budget.
Nekesa disclosed that they typically expend approximately Ksh30,000 each day. She elucidated that this financial allocation encompasses various necessities, including food, fuel, the purchase of electricity tokens, and other essential daily requirements. “Kuseme tu ukweli kwa hii nyumba tunaspendingi kama 30k per day,” Nekesa emphasized.
Diana chimed in, mentioning that the minimum sum her staff could request for domestic needs was Ksh10,000. “In a day, pesa kidogo kwa hii nyumba yenye ntaitishwa 10,445. Na bado guys it’s not enough,” Diana acknowledged. She further clarified that she had set an average daily expenditure limit at Ksh6,000, although she acknowledged that she usually ends up surpassing that amount. “Naweza sema averagely per day ni 6k. Yani hio najua tu lazima,” Diana added.
The househelps acknowledged that the Bahati family’s lifestyle is undeniably expensive, and the daily maintenance of their spacious residence comes with significant costs. They expressed their gratitude towards Diana Marua and Bahati for creating a luxurious living environment for them and treating them as cherished members of their extended family.
